Jack Bland is a 2026 SS/RHP, 1B, 3B, MIF, IF with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Avon. Medium, square shouldered frame with young build, room to fill and develop moving forward. Ran a 9.24 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, works into an over-the-top arm action on throws across, arm strength and carry will continue to develop, accurate across, strides open some at release, takes short steps on the charge. Also pitched, big hip turn at top of delivery with a leg lift below belt and a deep gather on backside; works exclusively out of the stretch, compact arm action working to a high three-quarters release point. Left-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a short stride moving into contact. Long swing path through the zone with a high finish through point of contact. Can shorten approach, handsy swing with occasional lift, works the ball around the field.
