Jackson Pfister is a 2025 1B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Centennial, CO, who attends Grandview Big and strong athletic build Plenty of athleticism and length throughout the build Has room to keep filling out and adding strength in moving forward Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash Primary first baseman who fields it deep with a good funnel into his throws and plenty of feel for the glove He had good turns working to second base with a quicker release, throwing 87 mph across the diamond to third & remaining accurate on double-play feeds to second There was athleticism in the footwork and throws that carried with some whip coming out of his release Clean round defensively during workouts A right-handed hitter who has an even base and squared stance with load-stride timing He was rotational with some feel to lift and produce some jump off the barrel He had strength and bat speed working through it with an ability to drive the baseball to the gaps Also left the yard with a home run during BP on his last swing Showed some leverage in the swing and was able to get it done in the batters' box during BP Also, hit well in-game, finding barrels on both days during games and lifting the ball well Produced an 84 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing as well Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who works from a higher three-quarters arm slot with a leg lift up at the belt and a longer arm action through his release The arm works well with some looseness and whip to it He worked 81-85 mph on the fastball, reaching back for 87 mph with arm-side life and some downhill plane to the pitch Would occasionally cut the fastball around 81 mph He worked in a mid-70s breaking ball with good 12-6 depth to it It could blend to 11-5, but he did a good job pulling over the top of it to create some depth and snap He worked pretty quickly with some pace and tempo to his actions Pieced together a quality outing on the mound, getting whiffs and challenging opposing hitters Good student Named to the 2024 Sunshine Rocky Mountain TP List.
