Cooper Obst is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Pine Crest. Recorded a 7.15 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and strong build. Quick release behind the plate with a traditional stance and accuracy through the bag. Pocket awareness working under the ball while receiving with agility to both sides while blocking. Athletic backstop with consistent actions and skills behind the plate. Switch-hitter with a wide base from both sides of the plate. Slightly open stance from the left side with level swing path and barrel control through the opposite field gap. Even and square base from the right side of the plate with direct swing path to the zone. Barrel control through the middle with impact out front. Excellent student.
