Andrew McKeown is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Dana Point, CA who attends Dana Hills. Medium frame with an athletic build showing broad shoulders and plenty of fast twitch muscle throughout. Ran a 7.26 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance as he proved to be flexible in the lower half. Received the baseball with some feel. Quick transfers as he was confident in his catch and release skills. Working downhill on throws that were on target. Recorded a pop time of 2.01 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, starting somewhat narrow and open with the front side. Toe-tap to stride as the hands get deep behind the ear. Looks to pull the baseball when possible and proved to have some power in the swing when he timed it up properly. Good hand-eye coordination and the hit tool will make strides with a few small adjustments. Great Student.
