Blake Alley is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Trinity. Alley works from a young developing build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. As a primary SS, he showcased a quick compact arm action with active footwork and a reliable glove to pair, topping out at 81 mph across the diamond. Alley successfully kept the mechanics under control and flashed the ability to change slots when needed. On the mound, he displayed evident arm speed from a traditional 3/4 slot and kept the operation compact and repeatable. He hid the ball well and mixed a breaker with both vertical and horizontal tilt around 2000 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a lower hand set to generate contact to the opposite field. He attempted to create lift in the bat path with power becoming more prominent as the stroke refines. Ran a 7.39 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
