Cole Chambers is a 2027 SS/UT with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends St. Louis University HS. Big and strong athletic build. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense with future third base projection and actions. Has good fundamental glove actions, gets to spots well and shows lower half quickness, plays under control, big arm strength across the diamond, handled the slow roller cleanly, can be solid at shortstop but may be better at third base. Right handed hitter, has a controlled stride into his swing and will drift early at times, stays well connected to his back side, has big raw bat speed with strength at contact, big jump off the barrel, high level hitting potential. Excellent student with a commitment to Oklahoma. Named to the PG National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
