Brandon Brannon is a 2027 OF/3B/SS with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Mount Vernon, TX who attends Mount Pleasant. Compact athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and straight start with a hanging leg raise trigger, gets his weight off his back side well, swings hard and creates bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard, stays behind the ball well and hits to all fields, gets the ball in the air with an uphill swing path, lots of hitting potential. 6.82 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is under the control through the ball with a clean one handed gather, athletic transition with a high 3/4's arm slot, made accurate on-line throws, very strong fundamentals defensively. Excellent student.
