Will Coffman is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. John's. Extra-large, athletic frame with long limbs and some present strength, will continue to add physicality moving forward. Ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges in on the ball hard and plays with intent throughout actions, longer arm action, gets too quick at times but real arm strength and carry to the intended base, full arm stroke with low and on line carry. Also pitched, worked middle of the rubber with a stretch only operation, leg lift at start working to an extended and lower three-quarters release point. Tends to finish towards the first base side on release; able to generate nice running life on fastball up to 83 mph with operation/release; short 10-4 shape on curveball with some depth up to 70 mph. Showed a four pitch mix and able to change eye levels, will continue to refine a consistent release point. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Limited load in swing, long path through the zone and works on a linear plane; employed an approach that allowed for opposite field contact; shows strength off of the barrel when squared as he toped out at 90 mph in exit velocity testing. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
