Jax Kohler is a 2029 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Medium athletic build with square shoulders and good strength for his age. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good feet and lateral range, moves well to the ball, good feel for the back hand, nice arm strength for his age, has the actions and will keep improving. Left handed hitter, sets up in a medium stance with a slightly open front side and a short knee lift trigger, stays balanced well, short swing with the ability to turn the barrel, good swing base to grow into as he continues to get stronger. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch with a big deep arm takeaway in back, rotational delivery with some energy at release, mostly 3/4's at his release point, occasionally higher on his breaking ball.
