Drew Cross is a 2027 C/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, TX who attends Mount Pleasant. Medium athletic build. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up high behind the plate, comes out of his crouch athletically, quick transfers, plenty of arm strength and gains ground into his throws, makes accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield with third base actions, showed his arm strength well. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and straight stance, short stride into contact with a simple load and trigger, showed some lift to the pull side gap. Excellent student.
