2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Andrew Thomas is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Climax, NC who attends Providence Grove. Medium frame with long, lean limbs, good overall athleticism and plenty of time and room to add further physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.84 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing real feel for the clay. Creates good angles and understands speed of the game with his twitchy actions. Advanced glove work with super quick exchange leading to clean arm path that generated throws up to 88 mph with carry across the diamond. Showed his dexterity on the slow roller, handling it very well. Reps in the outfield as well, getting to the ball in good shape and ripping throws up to 91 mph back to the bags with ease. Switch hitter, working with a high handset and high back elbow from the left side. Quick load leading to fast hands working on plane to the pitch and peppering line drives gap-to-gap. From the right side, starting open with a hovering leg lift trigger. A bit more length here and likes to work the ball backside. Has a real shot to impact the ball from both side of the dish. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
