Ladarius Dennis is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 164 lb. frame from Pensacola, FL who attends Pensacola Catholic. Medium athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has athletic footwork and moves well to the ball, clean back hand actions, solid arm strength with more to come, has confidence in his glove work and gets it in position on time, has the athleticism and twitch to stay in the middle infield. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with an hanging inward leg raise and turn, has fast hands and fires them hard creating present bat speed, will over swing and spin off at times but the raw bat speed and ability to create jump stand out. Also pitched, has a high energy delivery with a quick leg raise start and a recoil on release, compact arm action to a 3/4's arm slot, controlled his mechanics well and threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 81 mph and a short breaking curveball.
