LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Sunshine East Showcase
Clark Corlew is a 2024 1B/3B, OF with a 6-2 250 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends IMG Academy. A bigger frame with tons of strength in a large and physical build. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. A primary corner infielder who worked out as a first baseman. Works with two hands out front to field the ball as he funnels into this throws from a higher slot. Gets over the top of the ball and lets it rip through release. A right-handed hitter with a loud presence in the batters' box. Uses an inward toe-tap to get on time and stride through contact. Has a steep path, being long through the zone. Had a ton of strength to impact it well off the barrel. Loud round of BP, leaving the yard and hammering balls deep into the outfield. Produced a 98 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Corlew also hit well in-game with a ground-rule double to deep left-center that nearly left the yard. Good student. Named to 2023 Sunshine East showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
