Lachlan Wildt is a 2028 RHP/OF from Covington, LA, attending Mandeville High School, with a strong, medium 5’10”, 165-lb frame and room to continue developing. He is a 7.25 runner in the sixty. On the mound, he works from a stretch-only delivery with a repeatable tempo and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. He shows the ability to work the fastball to both sides of the plate, with the fastball playing best when elevated. His curveball features quality 11/5 shape with good depth, showing the ability to land it for strikes and bury it as a chase pitch. His changeup shows developing feel and projects as a usable third offering as he continues to refine it. He competes well in the zone and consistently forces weak contact, projecting positively as a right-handed arm in the 2028 class. Defensively, he profiles as a reliable outfielder with clean glove actions and sound fundamentals. He fields the ball out front, works through plays efficiently, and delivers accurate throws with developing arm strength, giving him added defensive versatility. At the plate, he is a right-handed hitter with an even base and a simple, repeatable swing. He has good timing, frequent barrel contact, and emerging leverage through the zone. A well-rounded 2028 grad with competitiveness, feel for the game, and clear developmental upside. Great student.
