Hampton Newman is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Live Oak, FL who attends Suwannee. Medium athletic build with good present strength, especially in his upper half. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, did a nice job of fielding off the front foot with present arm strength up to 86 mph. Kept throws low and on-line with additional room to carry momentum downhill through release. Also worked on the bump, flashed long, loose arm action before accelerating through 3/4 slot. Maintains balance over the rubber effectively with FB topping out at 84 mph. Generated swing/miss and located to all quads of zone. SL registered at 2391 rpm with present spin profile. Offensively, started with a high hand set and high back elbow. Evident quickness to hands with good intent behind the stroke. Consistent middle of the field impact, posted an exit velo of 95 mph.
