Van Willner is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Merion Station, PA who attends Lower Merion. Nice athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Throws from a cross body delivery with a compact arm action, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with good arm side running life. Threw a short gyro-type slider as his breaking ball and occasionally mixed in a firm change up with some fading action. Strike thrower with three pitches, can continue to develop his off-speed quality. Excellent student, verbal commitment to East Carolina.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
