Samuel Chin is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from La Grange Park, IL who attends Timothy Christian. Medium, long limbed frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.96 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, hides the ball well through the backside and works to a three quarter arm slot; the ball jumps out of his hand and topped out at 77 mph. He has a three pitch mix. He throws a firm curve with impressive break up to 65 mph. His change up run arm side upwards of 70 mph, firm through the zone. He hammered the zone throughout with all three pitches. He hit 2600+ spin rate on his curve throughout his outing. He dominated his opponent in an impressive showing. In the outfield he showcased proper foot and glove technique and was extremely accurate with a strong arm. At the plate he had an upright stance with a toe tap trigger and a high hand set. Left-handed hitter, loads upper half and uncoils into contact, occasionally gets mistimed, showed comfort working to pull side with best contact. Good student. Named to the 13u/14u Southwest Top Prospect List.
