Ryan Skjonsby is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B, UT with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Long Beach Poly. Large frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.65 seconds. Primary third baseman, showed a decent glove with heavy feet and accurate throws. From the mound, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, has a simple and balanced repeatable delivery. Throws a heavy ball and has good deception. The fastball topped out at 81 mph. Complimented his fastball with curveball at 67 mph and a change up at 73 with decent cut. At the plate, displayed natural pull side power, has a compact swing with a downhill hand path. Swung the bat well and displayed good pop. Excellent student.
