Eli Nolte is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Iowa City, IA who attends Iowa City West. Tall, lean build with long levers and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop, took decent routes to the baseball and moved through it well. Has some lateral range and the ability to adjust the glove. Stays behind the backhands and picks the ball cleanly. Arm will continue to develop over time and with additional strength. Recorded arm strength up to 75 mph on throws across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, operates from a full wind-up delivery with a leg lift up to the belt. Separates into a long and loose arm path before graduating into an extended low three-quarters slot. Delivery is fluid and allows the arm to come through cleanly. Fastball showed arm-side run and sink, ultimately peaking at 80 mph. Mixed in an 11-5 curveball with nice shape and depth to it as well as a late-fading changeup. Right-handed hitter, starts in an open stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes an inward leg lift trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Displayed rotational swing mechanics with the ability to work all parts of the field. Can create lift and backspin to the pull-side when impacting the ball out in front. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 5.43 forty-yard dash. Good student.
