Will Connolly is a 2026 RHP/SS/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Zebulon, NC who attends East Wake Academy. Medium frame with some compact strength and some twitch to his actions with a lot of time to build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Primary position RHP, working with a full windup from the 1B side of the rubber. Short side step to solid posture over the rubber, leg lift to the belt and stationary hands at the chest. Breaks into a deep, quick inline arm path and moves fast out of the glove into a high 3/4 arm angle. Turns hard in the core and builds arm speed as he saw his FB peak at 83 mph as it lived in the strike zone. CB projects as a power pitch longterm with super spin rates in the 2,450+ range in the upper 60s. Plenty to like here and showed good competitiveness on the bump too. Reps in the OF and IF as well showing first step quickness and good angles. Smooth glove action working his fingers through the ball and securing the ball with confidence. Lateral mobility there too and same clean arm action that built throws up to 83 mph to bags. RHH working from a narrow and slightly open stance and good handset to get things started. Works hard to get inside the ball and will get a bit steep on his approach to contact. When he stays in his legs, the barrel is on plane and creates hard contact. Emerging overall bat head control that will only get better with time and growth. Young prospect who is an outstanding student as well.
