2022 Memphis Prospect Showcase
Bryson Jackson is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Corinth, MS who attends Kossuth. Recorded a 7.36 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium build with wiry strength. Primary catcher. Medium base setup behind the plate. Good prep work getting his body in a position to receive and throw the baseball. Gains ground toward second base during footwork. Clean transfers with power generated from the lower half. Right-handed hitter. Starts with a medium base with a square stance, in the box. High back elbow and high hand placement. There is some quick twitch in his swing, allowing for some bat speed. Smaller toe tap timing mechanism into bigger back shift. Stayed on time consistently during his round. Looks to backspin balls in a middle-pull side approach. Good power projection. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Memphis Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
