Jack Schultz is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Plymouth, MN who attends Robbinsdale Armstrong. Tall and wiry athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, showed fundamental footwork to the baseball, the foot speed to develop lateral range and some glove actions moving around the infield. Quick release with arm strength for the age, inconsistent arm action and accuracy across the diamond. Hit from an open stance, segmented swing with some compact movements and a slight uphill bat path. Developing strength and bat speed to go with the ability to control the barrel well. Notable arm strength for the age on the mound out of a high 3/4 slot with a mid 80's fastball that had some cutting action. Bigger shaped 11-5 breaking ball and a straight change up. Showed feel to pitch and ability to throw all 3 pitches for strikes. Good student. Named to the PG Minnesota Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
