Elijah Alvarez is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, UT with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Ontario, CA who attends Norco. Has a medium frame, lean build, with longer arms that projects. Ran a 7.50 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed quality actions. Waits back at times but fields it clean and out front. Showed a shorter AA that flashed some strength with average accuracy across. In the OF, he has a solid approach working with some quickness as he gets around and through it clean creating some momentum into his crowhop. Lengthed out the arm action a bit which allowed him to run it up to 82. At the plate, he sits in a medium base, and uses a quiet toe tap trigger for timing as his hands stay in rhythm. It’s a handsy direct bat path through the zone. Showed a middle approach throughout his round that flashed some potential gap power. On the mound, it’s more of a drop/drive type operation with some slight crossfire at landing. Arm works longer out the back and up to a higher ¾ slot. His fastball showed some natural armside run in the mid-upper 70s that he was able to control throughout his outing. Mixed in an upper 60s slurvy breaking ball that he manipulated shape on somewhat adding/subtracting sweep/depth.
