2023 14U National Showcase
Kelley Crawford is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from San Mateo, CA who attends Junipero Serra. A taller frame with length throughout with room to keep adding strength to the build moving forward. Ran a 6.91 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked from the wind-up with a sidestep into his leg lift up around the belt. He showed a longer arm stroke, long thru the back. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. Showed the fastball up to 85 mph and had a breaking ball with 11/5 shape to it, being a little slurvy at times. He created some downhill angle on the FB from the higher slot. He threw 3.0 innings, allowing 5 hits with 3 strikeouts to his credit. A right-handed hitter with a narrow stance, high-set hands, and a high back elbow. He had an uphill finish thru the zone and flashed some strength at times. He created some impact during his round of BP swings. Showed the juice at times being able to use strength to create some hard-hit balls. Produced a 91 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added 2 hits in-game as well. Worked out as an outfielder with a longer arm action, using the long levers well. Worked into throws being able to throw 85 mph from the outfield. He showed off athletic actions from the outfield with an aggressive path to the ball with a quick first step. Showed a round of solid throws with a good ball flight on the way from the outfield. Clean round. Good student.
