Alex Gonzalez is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, OF, UT with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from McLean, VA who attends Mclean. Medium, athletic build. 7.23 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good actions and athleticism on display throughout the round of infield, gets the glove down early and showed soft hands, solid range to both sides, looked more comfortable working to the back-hand. Gets the ball out quickly and made all the plays, recorded throws across up to 78 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stomach high leg lift with a full arm swing to a low three-quarters slot. Right-handed hitter, moderate base with a low back elbow in the stance, stride out into contact, direct path to the baseball with developing strength off the barrel.
