Alex Santiago is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Bishop McLaughlin Catholic. Medium build with some strength potential. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, step by step actions to the ball, arm works well and makes accurate on line throws, can be more aggressive in his actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide straight base with a still hand start, longer stride into contact, has a direct swing path with good hand speed, fires his hands hard, made consistent pull side contact and got the ball in the air. Also pitched, works from a full windup with a short side step start, full arm stroke in back with a 3/4's arm stroke coming through. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight. Threw both a slider and a soft curveball, slider was the better pitch with some tightness and late sweeping shape. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
