Jack Tooke is a 2027 RHP/3B/MIF with a 6-2 193 lb. frame from Mandan, ND who attends Mandan. Big and physical build with good present strength. Works from a standard side step delivery with a belt high leg raise and coil at the top, good drive down the mound, over the top arm slot from a medium length arm action. Fastball sat in the mid 80's and topped out at 85 mph with some late running life, has topped out at 89 mph at PG events before. Split finger change up was firm with good arm speed and some late dive. Slider had good two-plane break and some bite. Commanded all his pitches well and was comfortable throwing inside to hitters, knows how to mix. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Secondary third baseman on defense, moves well and shows the glove early, worked through the back hand, big wind up into his throws with lots of raw arm strength. Left handed hitter, sets up in a medium open stance with a calm drift into his swing, turns the barrel hard, has lift in his swing, hits with intent and bat speed with a pull and lift approach, controlled the barrel well and has next level hitting potential. Good student. Named to the PG Minnesota Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
