Jacob Roberts is a 2012 SS/C with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Plainfield, IL who attends Plainfield South. Roberts is a very versatile player who can play all over the field. He showed good actions in the infield with a quick release and solid arm strength. He has a quick exchange and release behind the plate showing solid catch and throw skills. Jacob showed a smooth swing and had good hitting tools to work with and puts the barrel on the ball. He also worked a quick inning on the mound with a loose arm and smooth repeatable delivery.
