Christopher Ewing is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Archbishop Molloy HS. Recorded a 5.13 second 40-yard dash time. Physical frame with good athleticism and present strength. Primary shortstop with good poise and feel for the position. Sound footwork and has good throws with accuracy and an easy release. Athleticism plays nicely to both sides and can throw from multiple arm slots. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Slight hitch for timing and has whippy fast hands. Good present bat speed with nice natural loft to the plane. Ball jumps off the barrel nicely and will be an offensive impact with added strength and consistency. Good student. Named to the 2019 NE Indoor Top Prospect List.
