Blayne Robinson is a 2019 1B/OF with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Defiance, OH who attends Defiance HS. Long and angular athletic build, has good present strength with lots of room for more. Left handed hitter, open and wide stance, long and loose swing, tends to stay on his back side and spin around his core, can use lower half better and more directionally, has good leverage at contact and the ball comes off the barrel well, projectable power with adjustments. Big target at first base with some hands around the bag. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
