Jake Finnegan is a 2025 SS/3B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Jupiter. He has a long and lean athletic build with room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.22 seconds. Primary shortstop who also plays the outfield on defense, has quick feet in the infield and moves to the ball well, can change his slots well on the move, nice arm strength when he's on top of the ball, game actions in drills. Was athletic in the outfield with good arm strength and developing footwork. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with good balance and direction into contact, short stride into contact, simple swing that he repeats well, finds barrels consistently with a short downhill swing, lots of mid field line drives, with the ability to create jump off the barrel. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
