Ezekiel Lara is a 2026 OF/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Cerritos, CA who attends Mater Dei. Solid athletic build with good present strength. 6.39 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, who worked out at the position with a feel to work through it and come through release well. He kept a lower flight on his throws with some carry to it and good accuracy around the bag. He had some momentum working to it, with good aggression to the footwork. Big crow-hop working into it, with throws coming out at 89 mph with good arm strength. Took BP as a left-handed hitter, with a wide base, higher hands, and the back elbow up. He showed strength in his hands with good bat speed through contact. Toe tap trigger shown working into it, with a lofted path and some length out in front. He showed good pull-side impacts during his round of BP swings with EVs in the upper-90s. Produced a 97 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Hit well in-game with a trio of hits to his credit, with some feel to impact it. Great student. Verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
