Emery Wright is a 2021 C/RHP, IF with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Knoxville Catholic. Flashed a medium frame with a very athletic build showing some room to fill. Strong lower half showing to be projectable. Ran a 7.27 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher starting with a low base while on the balls of his feet ready to go. Quick transfer while showing throws with carry to the bag. Showed to be accurate around the bag as well. Secondary Righthanded pitcher showing a smooth arm action on the mound. Lower half strength being put to use during delivery. Belt high leg lift and then finishes square to the plate. Filled up the strikezone working off his fastball and then mixing in a slider at times. Righthanded hitter starting with a narrow stance in a balanced position. Works into a higher leg kick while creating some separation. Uphill swing path creating some bat speed while doing so. Proved he could square it up consistently in games and batting practice going gap to gap.
