Kelly Crittenberger is a 2023 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from McLean, VA who attends The Potomac. Medium, square shouldered build with a lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, takes short steps moving towards the ball and works through it well to carry momentum into release, extra step through the backhand, some effort at release from a lower release point, shows accuracy to first base, overall arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow and even stance with a high hand tight hand set at start of swing; utilizes a short leg lift trigger, upper body dominant swing. Contact oriented approach and looks to work to all fields, stays short with stroke and occasionally gets downward with swing plane. Keeps hands inside the ball, best contact to pull side, bat speed projects with added physical strength. Very good student.
