Tanner Paschke is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from O’Fallon, MO who attends Ft. Zumwalt North HS. Medium and young frame with plenty of room to fill and time to do so. Ran an 8.21 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield rounding the baseball off well and fielding the baseball while bending at the waist, hands play the baseball out in front while transferring cleanly to his throwing hand, releases from a low arm slot with developing arm strength and footwork, topped out at 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, deceptive and athletic delivery, takes arm back to a loose arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, fastball shows riding life to armside topping out at 78 mph, mixed in an 11-to-5 curveball with late biting action. Righthanded hitter, sets up with an exaggerated open stance and a high hand set, utilizes a high leg lift trigger into contact, long swing path with some barrel feel, created line drive contact to his pull side during his round of batting practice. Good student.
