2021 14U Fall Northeast Showcase
Rylan Purnell is a 2026 OF/SS with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Drexel Hill, PA who attends Undecided. Recorded an 8.57-second sixty time. Smaller, compact build with strength remaining to be added throughout his frame. Displayed some athletic actions in the outfield, playing through the ball well. Longer arm action from a lower arm slot, up to 65 mph on his throws, could get on top of the ball more for better accuracy. Right-handed hitter, narrow, slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Hands tend to drift away from body, compact stroke that worked middle-to-opposite field during his round. Will continue to develop feel for the barrel as he matures physically.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
