Jackson Wargo is a 2023 SS/2B, OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Robbinsville, NJ who attends Notre Dame. Recorded a 4.87 second forty-yard dash. The primary shortstop starts with a wide base and light feet creating good angles on the ball as he funnels it out front with a smooth and easy transfer. Wargo accurately throws across the diamond with a strong arm that recorded 84 mph. The switch-hitting shortstop stands up to the plate from the left side with a wide and even stance, high hands, and a high back elbow. He loads back leg pre pitch with a high leg kick trigger, quick hands with a short swing and good barrel control that generates good back spin on the ball working pull side approach. From the right side of the plate, a bit more closed off and narrow stance with the same high leg kick trigger and quick hands working more middle approach from the right side.
