2025 PG National Showcase
Ethan Dejesus is a 2026 RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Sumner High School. Live bodied medium build with some present strength. Versatile player who is a primary pitcher but who can play all over the field. Fastball topped out at 93 mph on the mound with good command of the zone, slider was his best secondary pitch with plenty of power and sharp biting action that created some swing and miss. Also threw a curveball with some 11/5 depth and a developing change up. Charges the ball hard in the outfield and controlled his energy well, big arm strength and carry with accurate throws. Also worked out at shortstop but his actions were more polished and athletic in the outfield. Switch-hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a big leg raise and stride into his swing that can impact his timing and bat speed, busy hands from the left side, has more bat speed and lift left handed but less consistency and balance. Will be interesting to see where he ends up on the field. Very good student.
