2020 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jack Gallagher is a 2023 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Stony Point, NY who attends Albertus Magnus HS. Lean, young build with plenty of room to add strength and fill out. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple operation including a side step into a high leg kick. Short, compact arm action and commands both sides of the plate. Attacks up in the zone with the fastball and mixes in a softer breaking ball to disrupt timing. Good feel and present pitchability and will improve with additional strength. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, small step forward, and a downhill stroke. Contact oriented approach with some athleticism. Swing has multiple parts but has a knack for getting out in front to get the barrel to the ball while extended.
