2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Dylan Nagle is a 2024 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Lockport, IL who attends Lockport Township East. Medium build, projectable body. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.93 seconds. Primary third baseman, showed good range up the middle, has a tendency to let the ball come. Has a good feel just need to attack the ball more. Displayed a quick transfer and release with a a live arm and accurate throws. From the mound, threw from the stretch, displayed a clean release and whippy arm. The fastball sat 82-85 mph with good run working down in the zone, showed the ability to locate well to both sides of the plate. Threw a lot of strikes and attacked the batters early. Mixed in a curveball at 74 mph, flashed the ability to have good depth and late break. At the plate, hits from an open stance with hands up high by the ear. Displayed a longer swing with a slight loft hand path generating soft pull side contact. Great Student.
