Malachi Butler is a 2027 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Mceachern. Recorded a 7.10 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with an athletic frame. Ideal footwork and angle in the infield, staying low with clean actions. Good body control and has range to both sides. Advanced feel in the dirt with arm strength across, recording throws up to 87 mph. Left-handed hitter and starts from a wider base with a high back elbow. Takes an inside path to the ball and employed an all fields approach, using the whole field during the round. Accurate barrel with real feel for it and the ball comes off well. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
