Mattox Meeks is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-3 174 lb. frame from New Smyrna Beach, FL who attends New Smyrna Beach HS. Projectable frame with a long build, high waist, and room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Throws exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift up above the belt with a slight coil over the rubber. Full arm path with quality arm speed and fires from a three-quarters arm slot. Excellent comfort and confidence in the changeup. Doubles and triples up on the pitch in the low-80s with fading and sinking action. Slider in the upper-70s with spin up to 2400+ rpm. Fastball sits in the mid-80s with sinking life. Changeup is a separator and a dynamic offering. Great student.
