2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Trevor Yancey is a 2027 RHP/MIF/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Providence Day. Thick and strong build. Works from a full wind up and a high 3/4's arm slot, drives hard off his back side and has energy through release. Fastball was in the upper 80's, mostly straight with some carry up in the zone. Curveball was his best pitch with hard spin and sharp downer action, also threw a shorter slider with good shape. Flashed a change up that can be further developed. Reliever profile at present until he gets more consistent in the strike zone. Right handed hitter, starts with an open front side with a big hanging leg raise close, foot gets down late, big swing and is looking to drive the ball, flashed strength at contact when everything came together. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Secondary middle infielder on defense with third base tools and actions. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his arm strength well at both positions. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
