Amarri Daniel is a 2024 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with an early stride into contact, has a short hands driven swing, showed fast and strong hands, looking to get out front and pull the ball but showed the ability to use his hands well to make adjustments and hit to all fields, gets very good jump off the barrel at times. 6.96 runner in sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive to the ball and fields it cleanly off his front foot, has a clean crow hop and a quick and compact arm action, makes on line accurate throws with good carry. Also played some infield and showed nice overall athleticism and arm strength that would play well at third base. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high energy delivery and a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with big arm side life at times, also mixed in a slurvy low 70's breaking ball. Velocity was ahead of his command this outing. Verbal commitment to Mississippi Valley State. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
