Robert Villa III is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-7 138 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ. Medium, athletic frame with present strength and additional room to fill out. Ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. On the mound he showed an easy, repeatable delivery with a consistent release. He threw only fastballs but possessed good movement with the pitch, topped out at 73 mph in this look. He is a strike thrower with the ability to move the ball in and out using the corners. He also worked out at infield, moves very well laterally with good foot and glove technique. More to come with arm strength as he continues to grow. Switch-hitter, begins with a slightly open stance from the left side and utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box; remains balanced and uses all fields while showing quickness to hands. Similar set up from the right side, showed comfort working to the pull side and squared the ball up well, creates extension and can turn on it with intent. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Southwest Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
