Lucas Williams is a 2027 C/UT with an athletic 6-2 190 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Crean Lutheran. Started the event off clocking 6.80 60-yard dash. A primary catcher, secondary. Showed a comfortable side-saddle set up behind the plate along with a knee down option. Good receiver with quick transfer. Consistently on the bag with plus arm strength and short arm action with solid carry to the bag clocking a 1.94 pop time. Switch hitter that can mirror from both sides. Wider stance at the plate and high back elbow and hands. Has a toe turn trigger and stays compact, staying on a direct path with intent to do damage. Showed consistent barrel control with over the fence power potential. Elite Student. Named #1 Top Prospect in the 2027 class for this event.
