Austin Egan is a 2023 SS/RHP, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Gov John Rogers. He has a medium frame with a slender build and room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary short stop that works around the ball well. He showed smooth actions to both sides of his body and a good feel for the glove. He has a whippy arm and is able to accurately throw from multiple arm slots. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a high, swinging leg kick and works in line with the plate well. He has a compact arm action, firing from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball is straight and he was able to work it around the zone. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wide base and a squatty stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing. He has a line drive approach and did his best work when staying up the middle. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
