2025 PG Indianapolis Indoor Showcase
Jace Watson is a 2026 OF/C with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Newburgh, IN who attends Castle. Big and strong athletic build, especially in the lower half, with room to get stronger in hiss upper half. Left handed hitter, starts from a spread stance, gets into his strong lower half very well to drive his bat speed, simple and well timed swing with very good present bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard, mostly middle of the field line drive contact, has plenty of time to develop more lift in his approach. 6.82 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball with good control and direction, loose and fast arm action, makes accurate one hop throws, solid overall actions and fundamentals. Also caught and has potential behind the plate, comes out of his crouch well from a one knee down set up, athletic actions, good arm strength with easy accuracy and carry, more polished as a catcher than one would expect as a secondary position. Good student. Named to the PG Indianapolis Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
