Evan Paul is a 2027 C/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Miami Shores, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Big and physical build with lot of present strength. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has flexible lower half actions, sets up well behind the plate, receives the ball with good pocket awareness, quick exchange on his throws, over the top arm slot with some carry, can get sped up throwing at times, 1.97 pop time in the game. Right handed hitter, sets up in a balanced stance with a short stride into his swing, simple load and timer, stays inside and has some bat speed and strength at contact, mostly middle of the field hard line drive contact but showed that he can turn the barrel. Solid overall tool and skill set. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
