Ben Schaeffer is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-2 110 lb. frame from McCordsville, IN who attends Mt Vernon. Small frame with a young, lean build. Ran an 8.26 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, clean actions at the position, good operation and moves to the ball well, fields and funnels it clean, developing arm strength. Also pitches, exclusively from the stretch, steep over the top release, up to 66 with the fastball and will develop. Left-handed hitter, leg lift trigger and works longer through the zone, works the barrel out front but not enough strength to maintain through impact out front, loose wrists and things could improve with strength adds.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
